We believe, as Christians, that we can change the face of business. When we all become as Christians in every facet of our business, as buyer or seller, owner or staff member, for major clients or one time visitors, we can and will change the world. Christians-In-Business (CIB) was borne from a simple Christian concept. Stewardship. We asked ourselves why modern business has become a purveyor of confusing and all-too-often dishonest and unpleasant transactions. We realized that it is the Christian business owner who is called to be the Steward of Christian principles in the business world. The next step was to find a way to bring Christians together. We are all Stewards of these vital Christian concepts: honesty, fairness, integrity, kindness. God's inspired word teaches, ..."For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I (God) in the midst of them." Matt 18:19.
We receive a constant flow of emails from Christians who struggle with the challenge of proclaiming their faith in business. Such challenges causes confusion in their daily quest of networking. Proclaiming one's faith, with the right intent, should not create fear or the inability to speak your beliefs. Christianity is not a game, it's not up for debate, it's a choice. It's as simple as the choice to be or not to be. Whatever you believe with strong conviction, passion, humbleness, knowledge and wisdom, it defines your character whereby establishing integrity.
